What is AmeCon?
AmeCon is the UK's largest residential convention dedicated to the celebration of Japanese Animation and Comics, and the community that these media bring together. We try to be a little bit country, and a little bit rock'n'roll - well, maybe a lot rock'n'roll, but that's beside the point.
The weekend-long timetable is chock-full of attendee-run events providing new insights, or alternative viewpoints, on a variety of related subjects. Either way, they are a great way to meet likeminded people who love the same things you do.
Our infamous nightly parties provide ample opportunity to kick back and get your groove on with friends, old and new. Folks coming to AmeCon might only see each other once or twice a year, so we do everything we can to make it a weekend to remember!
Above all else, AmeCon is an event that is run by fans, for fans, and would be nothing without the fans. Every penny AmeCon receives goes into making the event that bit more special for the hundreds of attendees who return year on year. If you want to know more about AmeCon, have a poke about the site or the forum, or drop us an email!

Online Payment now open!
Thu, 18/02/2010 - 12:11pm — Master AccountYou may now pay for your AmeCon membership online via Google Checkout. A guide on how to pay for your space has been added to the AmeCon Registration homepage to assist people with this process, and we have now implemented the 14 day payment window from today's date.
Google Checkout is our primary payment method as it supports most major cards, with the exception of Maestro. As mentioned earlier, online payment was delayed for this reason and we can now gladly say that we have set up a separate service for Maestro cards. AmeCon can only accept a limited amount of Maestro payments, so we advise that attendees only opt for this option if they do not have an alternative card to pay with and have no way of obtaining a chequebook from their bank.
For those who can only pay by Maestro, please register your badgename (if you have not already done so) and then email registrations@amecon.org with "Maestro Payment: (your order number)" in the subject line, and we will provide you with the details to pay by Maestro.
